WALL OF DEATH!

The Wall of Death has been the most enigmatic, daredevil, motorbike stunt for more than 100 years. Motorcyclists ride around the inside of a vertical wall, rather like a huge barrel, at speeds of around 30 mph. It is a challenge for an experienced stunt rider, let alone someone new to the world of stunt motorcycling which is why Positive Bones was shocked when we discovered that Paul Malin had decided to take on this stunt to raise money, not just for PB, but 3 other wonderful charities.

On the 25th of July, Paul Malin with the support of the world famous Ken Fox Troupe, took on the Wall of Death at the MotoFest in Coventry and completed it with ease. He impressed the stunt group so much that they have asked for a repeat performance at the Ipswich Festival of Wheels, allowing him to continue his fundraising efforts. He will also be repeating the stunt at the Rugby Bike Fest in September!

“It was very nerve wracking but lots of fun at the same time… It’s great to think that I have joined the elite group of riders who have ridden the ‘Wall of Death’ in public and a huge bonus as well to be asked by the Ken Fox Troupe to join the team at their next show… I am also very proud to have raised over £2000 for the four charities and I hope we can continue to bring in more for them in the upcoming weeks”
— Paul Malin, 55

Paul’s appearance at the MotoFest in Coventry was one of the highlights of the weekend and the Positive Bones fundraising calendar! Well done Paul on such a fantastic achievement and thank you for considering Positive Bones!
