River Thames Swim

Emma Sparrow, in yellow swimming hat, and her friends at the edge of the River Thames before they take on a sponsored swim for charity. She holds a Positive Bones banner in hand.

Bracing the freezing cold waters of the River Thames, Emma Sparrow took herself into the waters as part of a sponsored swim. Setting herself the challenge Emma knew she had to do something out of her comfort zone to really embrace the fundraising effort and she absolutely did, well done Emma!

Emma Sparrow celebrates as she finished her swim of the River Thames in the name of Positive Bones. She wears a yellow cap to suit the charities colours.

Note: This fundraiser was carried out prior to Positive Bones becoming a charity and during the time it was a fundraiser for our chair, Josephine Bridges. You can read more about her story and how we became a charity on our ‘about’ page.
