Valentines Ball

A marquee at Coombe Abbey Hotel filled with lights and yellow ballons and set out for a valentines ball in honour of Amputee Josephine Bridges and her charity Positive Bones

On Valentines night in 2019 Cinderella went to the ball to auction for some incredible donated prizes and raise money for Positive Bones in the process; except the main guest actually wasn’t Cinderella but someone far more incredible, the ball organiser, Michelle Ringer.

Taking place at Coombe Abbey Hotel guest danced the night away and auctioned for signed celebrity items and a number of donated items including;

  • A week or two at Positive Bones’ Isle of Man HQ (otherwise known as the home of Josephine Bridges parents) to watch the TT Races in May/June 2020.

  • A week in an apartment in Hampshire for up to four people overlooking the Isle of Wight.

  • Paintings by local artist Yulia Lisle

  • A signed (by the artist John Hancox) print of Barry Sheene.

  • Signed memorabilia from the TV show Benidorm kindly donated by Shelley Longworth.

  • A helmet from multiple British Motorcycle champion Steve Parrish.

  • An Isle of Man Fire and Rescue helmet signed by 20 TT riders.

  • A motocross helmet signed by current MotoGP and Moto2 stars Sam Lowes and Cal Crutchlow.

The night was an amazing success with a grand total of £10,000 raised!

Thanks must be given to all those who provided items to donate and also to Balck Cats Rock and Roll who kept everyone up on their dancing feet.
